I bought this Tv in April . Let me tell you this product is far from finished Let me tell you how my experience was , Tv delivered on time by Flipkart, As promised a tech visited my house and wall mounted the Tv as I wanted , sound quality of the Tv is excellent , Picture quality great but not excellent it plays 1080p but you can see some diffrence when compared to a samsung or sony or Lg AnywYs the tech who visted to mount the tv did not knw anything about the smart tv, now iI'm tech savy so I don't need a demo per say. I Also have a samsung curved 48 inch Led tv , so i know my way around a smart tv. Unfortunately the Micromax smart tv is installed with Android kitkat and has not been programmed enough to match the features of the tv. The software lacks apps , no youtube app to begin with which was big let down, browser on the tv is horrible . But there was an option to download chrome which was also not helpful as it wasnt very user friendly since the cursor on the tv moves at snails pace. I have an apple iphone and ipad which would not mirror with the tv to play videos again a big let down since it needs Android devices only to pair , i really don't understand how this makes it smart. After i complained a tech visted my house and informed that the 48 inch tv come with youtube app and pairs with apple devices but not the 42inch . Nowhere on flipkart does it mention that . The tech promised he would call up the micromax tech support hq and get me a update . The Micromax representative called ghe next day and said he would send a new update for the tv and then all will be fine . The software sent was a corrupt file and would not install what a bummer. The micromax guys gave up and then flipkart called and said we will take the tv back and refund your money. 3 weeks waiting and nobody has picked the tv from my residence however after calling them several time over 3 weeks flipkart refunded my money today. The tv unmounted and packed still waiting

Initially I was looking at Sony models but gravitated towards MMX only because of price value point, and I am glad that eventually I choose to buy this. The Sony models of this configuration were double the price of this MMX UHD LED TV. This UHD smart TV from Micromax is excellent value for money product with good quality. This product really shows coming of age of Indian manufactures. Apart from the price, no other TV in this price category give you option for faster USB 3.0 port, SD Card slot or smart Android with 2GB RAM for quick response. I am able to use my smartphone/tablet keyboard and mouse to control anything on TV. The remote given with this TV is very small and cute and not big like other manufacturers. Overall completely happy with the purchase and promise myself that from now onwards will look at the products from Indian manufactures with complete objectivity and will not make assumptions about bad quality from Indian manufacturers compared to other MNC manufacturers.

I bought this TV because of its smart features and price range. No other brand is available in this range for similar specifications. Yes this is an Android 4.2.2 Jellybean TV but lacks most of the Android feature. The things I liked are: Picture quality is good Sound quality is good Looks attractive Runs on Android (see below for tweaks) Things which I didn't like: No proper use of Android features Connectivity with Apple devices is poor Miracast doesn't work properly (normal casting works but screen mirroring is problem) Takes around 30 sec to boot Remote could have been better No Google Playstore & No official Youtube Solutions for missing Apps: This TV is basically a ChangHong chinese TV with custom Android ROM modified to work with TV somehow. You dont have root permission so you cant install playstore in system apps (without that playstore wont work). Now the solution is download ES File Explorer from net and install from external SD card, after that you will be able to browse files properly. Youtube: Download "Youtube for Google TV" from apkmirror and install it through ES File Explorer. After installing open youtube in TV and goto account Pair with TV to pair it with your Android phone youtube. Playstore: Download SlideMe PlayStore APK (non Google) and install like youtube. It has almost all the Apps which Google PalyStore has. From there you can install any Apps which you like but APPs using Google Services/Framework wont work. You may install Allcast APP from PlayStore to your mobile phone for better screen casting. Enjoy !

no after sales supoort, we have an issue with the remote, struggling to find a shop or a service center to buy a new remote, the Service cente when contacted, never responded, not at all happy with thier support, can anybody guide me where in this world can I buy the remote for this TV ?

The product is too good, no questions about it. The packing was great. The picture clarity and sound are awesome The installation team was not skilled and I am not satisfied with it.

TV clarity is good, but smart option which is provided does not work. When connected to internet or browsing the sites it disconnects and browser closes automatically. Miracast option does not work even after installing the .apk file in mobile. If you wanna just use it as TV, you can go for it, else dont buy as smart feature does not work properly.

In specifications they have mentioned Ultra HD and 4K resolution etc......But it is not even comparable with Sony and Samsung Full HD .......Same like Micromax Smart Phone.....Service Support also poor....Contacted Service center many times but their executive didnt visited yet even after 10 days. So i advice to buy a branded one though the cost is higher. But it will be value for money.
