quite happy with this TV used for a month, best you can get in this range Pros: great picture quality easy to configure picture settings can play movies from 1TB HDD power save mode cons: sound output only 10W. I bought a simple 5.1 speaker system to counter the sound output. better to pay 3k for a basic home theater system rather than going for the other LG version with 20W sound.

The TV may be good with regards to display quality, but for the price i paid (~40000 for a non-smart TV), I expected at least 15 years of life... it is just over 3 years I bought one and the display is now showing bright spots on the display as if someone is pointing a focus light on the screen.. i googled about the problem and it looks like it is very common and would require changing of LED panel at a cost of over 16000 depending on the size of the TV. Being a world wide company, it is a shame on LG selling cheap quality products and offering only 1 year warranty (which apparently does not cover panel problems).. the Sharp CRT TV we bought 25 years ago still works perfectly and we never had to take it for repairs....

We actually had a 21" Thomson CRT TV from last 16yrs, which was working well though. However had to change to an LED TV. (Smart & 3D dint seem a real need for me) With this, I was looking for an LED TV, Full HD b/w 39" - 42" in about 35k - 45k range. I had planned to buy Philips 39" TV for size v/s cost benefit, but it went out of stock on Flipkart. It was then I looked at LG 42" LB5510 & LB5610 ... I decided on LB5510; as LB5610 was not available on Flipkart in Bangalore. > It has the same IPS panel seen across all LG TV's which I hear is best/decent enough. > Awesome viewing experience of full HD LED with 720p & 1080p content.. (Unlike other LED TV's watching 480p contents from non-HD TV channels is not so impressive) > The TV speakers seemed good to me. I have read about several audio issues in LED TV's, don't know if people are comparing to Bose :-) .... But in this TV the audio was good even with just 15% volume up. > It has Audio Out with Headphone jack ... I could plug my 2.1 creative speakers to this ... Decent sound for watching movies. > The USB input could directly read my 1 TB HDD.... This was awesome for me :-) > There are two HDMI ports... Sufficient for now. > The menu & settings functions in remote are quite simple to use; helpful for my parents to handle. Coming to price: I had checked the same TV in stores... The price on Flipkart was 7k less. In addition I got 4k less on exchange of my old CRT TV. Good to go for this, if you are not looking for 3D or Smart TV... However a Smart TV can be made out of this with a Android box for 4k.

This product is really worth the money. Picture quality is good. Sound is sufficient for normal use. I am very happy customer using this LED TV since last 3 year and this LED works absolutely fine. First things first. Flipkart delivery was on time and even the installation team was also on time. Both Flipkart and installation team kept following us until the job is done. Good job. TV is worth for it money.It has good picture quality. If it is connected to external speaker, music is awesome. Only drawback is it connects to external speaker via optical cable even when HDMI slot is available. Over all a good product.

Excellent picture quality, especially HD channels or HD videos. Definitely need external home theater system to enjoy music and movies. Note that this is not a Smart TV but you do not need smart features if you have PS3 or Chromecast. Good value for money!

So my parents bought this yesterday. The packaging was good enough. PROS- 1. Awesome big screen (49" :D) 2. Amazing display and picture quality, and a HD connection is just the cherry on top. 3. Slim and appealing look. 4. IPS panel, better viewing angles. CONS- 1. Maxed out volume is low, sound could be much better (It tends to get muffled even after proper tuning of the equalizers 2. NO Smart features, they could have at least put in some features of connectivity. Disappointing. 3. Only 1 USB port and 2 HDMI ports, NO HDMI CABLE PROVIDED -_- 4. All ports are at the extreme backside of the TV. 5. Old firmware and software, same as of 2012 LG LCD/LED TV's. Too dry and boring to use 6. Remote of a very poor quality and seems to be of a cheap company's product. So verdict- Great for people who want just a big tv with amazing display, no fancy smart stuff. If suggest the lg 6500 model which gives 3d and smart in the same price group.

Got it for 35990/- with 10% axis bank offer from flipkart after comparing so many TVs and reading so many reviews .My last purchase was also a LG LED from flipkart which is still running great so with the budget i had to go for LG as sony and samsung are over priced.And This ones much better .Delivery and installation was perfect .Now the price has gone up .Keep monitoring the price it always fluctuates and buy when u feel the price is right and combine with any ongoing offer .Buy with confidence .Gave 4 star and 1 start i took out for the net neutrality thing which flipkart initially wasn't supporting :)

Delivered in time as per committed date. Installed with 6 direction wall mounted angle. Too good person & knowledgeable. Neatly he did his task. Product is awesome till now & hats off to IPS technology. Thanking to do such innovation.
