At this price, you should be surprised if it works at all. You have to remember this is a TV from 2010, and will only work in specific situations. Frankly, it works quite well. I use it as an HTPC screen running a DVI-HDMI cable, and it is superb for that application. There is a very minor amount of backlight bleed at the four corners, but it's within acceptable limits. Colour accuracy and skin tones are very real as long as you are willing to fiddle with the settings a bit, because factory settings (as usual with most LCD TVs) are way too bright and way too vivid. I have the brightness and saturation turned down significantly, left backlight control on, turned the backlight down slightly - and the results are close enough to scare my Philips 42" of roughly the same vintage, though that one is about twice as expensive. Colour uniformity issues are well-controlled, except obviously the black which suffers at the corners because of bleed. Now the bad stuff. Only two HDMI inputs. No Optical output. The sound. The first two I have no personal issue with, just putting it out there. The sound is another matter. I do not watch much TV apart from some sport and news. I do watch a lot of TV series but those get played off the HTPC into a nice audio setup. For broadcast audio, get a pair of speakers. The inbuilt ones sound like two old Scotsmen mumbling under their breath. Even speech is not legible, let alone anything else. Overall though, recommended - if you can live with the very few tradeoffs a purchase like this will entail.

I have purchased Toshiba LCD on 30/06/2011. From two weeks back the picture get stuck and the sound only coming out. I have made this complaint their customer care. Two days back one of their technician came and asked to change the board which cost more than Rs.10000/-. So don'try to purchase Toshiba Products. It's mere waste of money
