Symbian Anna - I have heard good reviews about symbian OS, indeed it is a very good OS. With touch interface it lacks the punch when compared to Android & Iphone's. i did not like the user interface. especially on mobile interfaces you would need zoom and clear fonts. anna lacks both. Compatibility issues/Applications - there are several nokia apps available in ovi store but sadly a few fit in for anna, the rest either do not function or do not respond. Anna's much boasted browser is quick, but fails when it comes to flash and zoom, you really don't enjoy the pinch zoom. yeah the phone is little heavy but i am sure it can stand a shock. i have dropped it twice :-P, it survived. If Nokia improves the user interface, this phone is a killer !!!

After lots of research in the net, I went for Nokia E-6 and have been using it since last one month. This is really a good phone under 16K. * With the extensive usage the phone's battery last one full day. * The talk quality is exceptional. * The camera is really good and the pictures are sharp. * The mail works seamlessly even while roaming. * The nokia maps are handy and gives accurate guidance. * The Facebook and Twitter Applications are quite easy to use. * The phone feels solid and is rugged. The only negative is the screen could have been bigger.

People who are biased against symbian are invariably the ones who have used symbian 60 and not symbian anna or belle. Symbian has evolved since and along with better battery life and solid build quality, Nokia phones are slowly coming back to life. Nokia E6 is a package hard to beat at its price range for someone looking for qwerty and touch. Pros:Excellent build quality, Good battery backup, Good crisp screen with brilliant contrast and brightness, Nice qwerty keypad, Good video recording, 8 gb inbuilt storage. Cons: Smallish screen, Admittedly outdated processor, Camera quality is not vry good(No, I do not have problems with EDoF, but even resolved detail has left me wanting).

Was torn between high end android/or lumia series, been a e71 user for 3 years(ya, I am a nokia fan) Worth the penny, if you are looking for a bigger screen etc, go for an ipad... Flipkart is a preferred destination for all the needs....

As with every phone, Nokia E6 also has its pros and cons. 1. Even though flipkart mentions Symbian Anna OS, the phone comes with Nokia Belle. I did not have major problems with the usability, but if you want to downgrade it to Anna, you can. Though the process is long and cumbersome. 2. Yes, the Screen is small. But the phone comes pre-loaded with Font Magnifier, licensed for lifetime, which is a very useful tool for this phone in particular. 3. The phone is a bit slippery to handle, but you can always get a case/cover for it. 4. The phone loves finger-prints! 5. There is a little bit of lag, but nothing annoying. Now, coming to the pros, 1.This phone is impeccably designed, and has a decent build-quality. 2. The qwerty keyboard on this phone is the best I have used. 3. The phone comes with built in quickoffice, licensed for lifetime, which you can use to create and edit word and excel documents. (You can also update and get the Microsoft Office setup.) 4. I will seriously recommend Allaboutsymbian website if you really want to know this device and how to get the best out of it. 5. The camera is excellent, considering the limitations of an EDoF camera. 6. The battery life is decent. (Not excellent though, but i assume it is due to the belle OS) 7. Though the screen is small, it is amazingly crisp and clear, as the pixel density of this phone is very high and matches that of the iPhone. 8. It has USB-on-the-go feature which is excellent. 9. 8 GB internal storage is amazing! 10. Considering the slashed price, the phone now comes for Rs. 13999, and hence i think it is an excellent buy! Particularly so if you want to move on (and away) from a blackberry or similar qwerty mobile phone.

Before i start, i shud mention a few updates not mentioned in the specs here: The OS is upgraded to Symbian Belle. And you have a whole slew of new Microsoft Apps 2.01 bundled with it. I have been using this fone for over a year now, and i can simply say that this is simply the best qwerty phone ever. It caters to both business and non-business needs with ease. The most spectacular feature is the touch-and-type feature, and its designed the way that both touch and tyoe are complementay to each other in easy usage and operation. Let me start with different features: OS: Symbian Belle is the best OS i have seen in the Symbian family. ease, comfort, security, and speed are the pominent features. Camera: 8MP. With Dual LED Flash. Just too good. Although still captures may not be as good as expected ( though by no means any less in quality), and the lack of auto-focus may irk a little, but when it comes to Video recording, this fone is takes the prize. HD recording is wonderful much better than most of the camers in league,and when played on a 1024x768 monitor or a LCD screen is smooth, unpixelated, and fast. Plus, geo tagging available in pics and videos. Screen Size: 2.46". Small, may be cumbersome at times, and to those who have big fingers. Screen Clarity/Display: the clarity and the display make up for the small screen size. The brightness, contrast ratio are perfect. The resolution is nanoHD-680x480. Divide it by the screen size and u will get the pixel density. Among the highest in the mobile phones. Gorilla glass coating-- need not say more. Processor: 680MHz, the only weak point ; cud have been better. hangs rarely, or in high-level games. in normal operation, or media usage, never had a problem. Battery: even after a year, and moderate usage of calls and data, the battery still lasts for almost a day and a half. Memory and Storage: This hell of a fone has internal memory of 8GB itself. so many wont need an external card anyway. But if one does need,

There are many pros which compelled me to choose Nokia E6: 1. The configuration offered by this phone along with a qwerty keypad and touch screen is not available in any other phone from any other company. 2. I was confused between a bb or this when I realized that a bb will not have so many features at this price and whatsapp is just as good. 3. The camera quality is good although one cannot focus on particular objects well. 4. The mass memory is already 8gb so adding another memory card is just an option. 5. The buttons are free and soft. Typing is a joy. 6. Battery backup is brilliant. At least one and a half days with data on al the time for Internet and whatsapp. I Am also over the phone for at least 4 hours everyday. Maybe more.texting is a habit. So one and half days is a good bet. 7. The phone also looks amazing. 8. Music sound quality is the usual Nokia. It's good. 9. Video recording was satisfactory too. 10. The new belle update is a charm. Cons: 1. Camera uses face detection which is not very well programmed. Hence, the focus needs lag behind. If the picture is taken a little carefully the quality is crisp but not as good as iPhone or Samsung phones which have similar megapixel cameras. 2. The phone tends to hang sometimes. Although its not a regular issue.

Read good reviews about the phone ..... Choice was between HTC ChaCha and Nokia E6 ... Went for Nokia with past history of sturdiness.... But sorry to say all the expectations were proven wrong ... Very next day realized the phone started hanging, in a weird way ...You read the message and when you want to reply back none of the keys are typing anything .... Solution remove battery and restart... This sucks to the core .... the software seems to have lot of bugs...Researched over net and found that its known typical issue of Symbian O/S.... I have loaded the latest Firmware version just in case any Nokia personal is reading and would suggest me to do so. They dont have stable software is the bottom line I would say, neither they have means or money to fix it .... So if you are buying a phone for the purpose of it working as phone ( I mean to receive/make calls, send/receive messages then pls dont go for this product).

Well, I bought this beauty from a retail store as I could not wait 4-6 days from flipkart to own it! Sorry Flipkart! About the Phone, it is a beast in terms of specifications. Do not compare this one with any other androids. It has got everything of a android except it is not one. Touch screen is very very responsive and display is fantastic. Key presses are smooth. Anna UI is good and improved. Internet speed is quiet fast. Setting your mail accounts will take hardly 1 minute. Camera is good though. Video recording is not exellent but more than enough. I use this phone for both business and pleasure and I am not disappointed at all. I even have a Sony xperia sk17i which looks pale infront of E6. Battery back up is 2 days with moderate usage. Overall, a very good product and is recommended. Thanks to NOKIA.
