It's handy 4.5 inch IPS display display, but sad with low display resolution (expected HD display) The device specifications are Good, Better Performance and Pure Android experience. Device runs 1.3GHz Mediatek Quad Processor with Mali 400MP2 GPU and 1GB Ram along KitKat OS. Guaranteed latest OS upgrade from Google till Aug 2016. Device supports 2 Micro Sim. Camera clarity is better than Other two Android one devices. Cons: - Low 1700mAh Battery; Needed at least 2000mAh battery for long lasting usage (cross finger lollipop update sort out battery issue). - Low display resolution - Can't install apps to external SD card (coming lollipop developed to adopt Apps to Sd card). - No OTG support. It's better One to select than Other two Android Devices. Kindly click Helpful, if you agree. And So that Customers be-aware before Buying. And also Google notice and Improve, where it should need development.

Hi All, In spite of these many re views , i will try my best to clear some doubts regarding this device. This is just AWESOME . I am using it from past 4 days and here is my review. 1) Battery Life -- AS some users reported that it has poor batter back up, but for me it is not. Initially 45% will be available at first boot, i charged it to 100% and it gave me wonderfull back up. Total Screen Time -- 5 hours WIFI time -- 2.5 Hours CALL time -- approx 1.5 hours Gaming Time -- 21 minutes. Brightness lower than medium After 24 hours , it still had 42%. Now you can judge by yourself about battery life. 2) SCREEN -- Scree quality is just ok ok.. But hey yo cannot expect 1080 at thi price. in outdoors it works as mirror, u have to cover it fully then only u can see the screen . 3) Memory Card -- You should by class 6 or class 10 memory card for better performance, games will take time to load if you use the MC provided by micromax. 4) Touch is just awesome just like MOTO G (2nd gen). NO lags at all. 5) LED Notification Available 6) Charges is of cheap quality, you shuld be careful while taking it around. 7) Build quality is just awesome. :) 8) Camera -- In 6.5 K . you can not expect more but still it is good even i have never expect that fornt camera willl be this much good. I have not faced heating problem yet as others, i used wifi continuously for 1.3 hours including downloading of lot ot apps. Intially i was about 98% close to buy ASUS Zenfone 5 because i have to use mobile max to max 8 months. But after all that review of poot battery about ASUS , i just dropped it. Even ASUS also have prole with kitkat update Even kitkat update for asus is 4.4.2 but for this it is 4.4.4 and upgrade to Android L, Which is very big plus point. Verdict -- Just go for it, even if ur budget is around 10K just go for it, u dnt have to spend 10k fully. Hope my review will be helpful for someone.

Micromax has done a great job by making this phone...canvas a one is the best phone when compared to the other two android one devices..everyone is saying that battery is poor..but it gives more enjoyment than motto e...camera clarity is up to remark... ***The Only Consequence Is That It Did Not Received The Lollipop 5.0 Update Yet*** Except that this phone is best phone at this price... BE INDIAN AND BUY INDIAN

I purchased this phone on 9th jan.. and after using it for 2 months i m giving my review... best phone i hv ever seen in this price range.. this is my 2nd android phone and its run buttery smooth... after using simultaneously play music, whatsapp, hike, messenger, you tube, and whatsapp and also google play services it is showing 380 mb of free RAM and it is also running like buttery smooth... supports 1080p videos by using MX player flawlessly... Ashphalt 8, gta games, fifa 14 is running in high graphics without any lag at all... and the most importnt part of this phn is that it is getting the first lollipop 5.1 update in india... those who are using this phn will shortly get the OTA update from GOOGLE.. even galaxy S4 will not get lollipop 5.1 update... So i think this is the biggest achievment of all android one users... and it has having ACCELEROMETER, PROXIMITY SENSOR, LIGHT SENSOR, GYROSCOPE SENSOR, ORIENTATION SENSOR, MAGNETIC FIELD SENSOR, VECTOR SENSOR, GRAVITY SENSOR, LINEAR ACCELERATION SENSOR I can guarantee you will not get all these sensors in one phone in this price range other than any android one phones...... camera is also very good... if you click pics by using HDR mode then quality of the photos becomes very high... Some flaws are there.... 1) battery lasts for only 14 hrs on moderate usage like (music, video, net, some amount of game playing).. but if you stop the "OK GOOGLE" servicing the battery lasts for a 18 to 20 hours..... hope the lollipop update would fix the battery issue.... 2) after playing high graphics game for 15 to 20 mins the phone heats up very rapidly...... 3) viewing angles are not so good... At last i will tell you that don't go for any others phones or MOTO E 2 in this price range... Just grab the small beast in this price range....

I'm Using it since 2 days, and what i figured out as follows :- The good's - good performance, lag free experience, good design, you can possibly play many latest games like asphalt 8, modern combat 4 and 5, gta vice city etc without any lag whatsoever at med settings, since it's a google phone you'll be getting android L update by January hopefully also free updates for the next 2 years and finally it's the best value for money like canvas unite 2 presently. The bad's - totally average camera, shoots well during day time, suffers at night, display looks a bit dull and colors seems fade-ish sort of, but good on brightness and the phone heats up at least a little while browsing and downloading stuff although its heats up pretty much while playing graphics intensive game which is kind of obvious with any smartphone. Final verdict - If your budget is around 6.5 as of November or December 2014 until the new phones are introduced at this range, it's safe to buy canvas a1 if you aren't too much cared about the camera honestly, or you can buy canvas unite 2 which is as good which won't be getting any future updates.

Best mobile of 6000 rs. Guys believe me I m using this mobile for 2 years and found this a best mobile. First I will start with pros of this mobile .PROS-1)-best camera it takes very clear pictures even after zooming. selfie is not 2 mp it is so clear that we can say it is 3.2 mp 2)-updates will receive very earlier than other phones 3)-good processor it is good speed at this mobile range 4)-it has light sensor which shows u new notification. Now I will tell cons. CONS-1)-battery is little weak . It comes with 1 day backup but u can manage 2)-Not so much look of this mobile. I have told all this experience about mobile. I m studying at 5th STD. So plz if u like my review plz press helpful button

Updating my review comments after 6 months of usage. Pros - Awesome performance - Can install many apps, as the internal memory supports significant number of apps unlike Micromax Unite 2 which has only 1 GB internal memory. - Good looks - Good touch screen response - Decent Camera Cons - Battery was good as long as was on Kitkat. On upgrading to Marshmallow the battery performance has degraded drastically - Speaker peak volume is low. They could have kept it higher.
