I have been looking forward to A1 since the time it was announced in I/O by Sundar P. Thanks to Flipkart and Spice I received mine today ..delivered in less than 18 hours. I have had an opportunity to boot up the phone and try out the basic features. Since I currently own a device that uses KK4.4, the features on this phone were very familiar and easy to use. I am impressed with the boot up time and touch screen. The applications loaded fast and youtube played well. The speaker which is at the rear side is not too great but expected at this price point. The camera is reasonable again for the price point. Flipkart had a few apps preloaded and Spice cloud has an app too. Great budget phone and the access to google updates is going to be a great plus !

1. Screen pixel density 218ppi which is not bad compared with Samsung phones 2. 1.3Ghz quad core mediatek processor with 1GB RAM but feel slight lagging when increasing the app count in the system tray. Hope Google will provide some patch updates to handle this lag. 3. Battery is not bad but it will not last for more than 12 to 18hrs depends upon your network signal strength and usage due to the limited battery strength of 1700mah 4. Light sensor is working like a charm including the automatic brightness 5. No issue with proximity sensor while in call, screen light cut off is perfect 6. Hearing aid feature is missing as like moto 7. More than 50% of RAM is free only eventhough feel small lag while using many apps 8. Internal memory is 2.2GB, which is more than enough for app lovers and game lovers needs to look for some other smart phone 9. Capacitive touch sensitive is average but not bad at this price point and IPS panel is a welcome feature with the expected brightness level 10. In-Call volume is little bit less compared with other phones, feel little bit difficult to hear the opponent voice in the noisy environment 11. Gorilla glass/Dragon tail glass is missing when compared with moto e, asus 400g, redmi 12. Phone look is awesome which is very slim and weight is less than 130gms 13. Camera clarity is average with auto focus feature is an added advantage 14. Ok Google in voice over without manual touch is a wonderful feature even moto g/moto e is not having 15. Voice Clarity is better than moto E

I got this phone yesterday and whoooooo ...superb build quality...smooth performance and good earphone ..good resolution..I am quite impressed by what they are offering at such low cost. If one is moving to smartphone for the first time, this is perfect for him/her. Camera quality is decent. You need to have memory card before you click a pic. And Flipkart one day delivery is great as always. I am giving five star because of the overall package ( software/hardware & perfomnace)

i have already used 6 to 7 smartphones in last one year (i like to buy cellphones:-) ) really i must say that in 1 year smartphones have changed from hell to heaven. forget about stupid samsung galaxy phones they are not worth buying i bought spice uno the day it was launched for my younger brother. cutting the point......about spice uno.... 1. firstly the touch sensitivity and the speed with which you open an app and close another is mind blowing. sliding the finger on the screen nd opening any app doesnt make u wait in terms of speed it is better than MOTO E. i have personally tested both the devices (my friend has moto e) 2. It is damn light in weight....when holding in hand it feels like as if i m holding a kitkat chocolate 3. processing is superfast.....can play big games like asphalt, modern combat very well 4. battery- can live for a day if you are not using it just for playing games all the time only one little con- your phone should have a sd memory card only then the camera can click pictures otherwise it wont (something which google did deliberately to save space in the phone memory ) so better buy a 16 gb sd card it is sufficient for ordinary use point to be noted- u cant read or write the phone's internal memory so better get a bigger memory card spice uno vs. moto e moto e has gorilla glass 3 whereas spice uno doesnt have- so you better dont let it fall moto e doesnt have front facing camera, spice uno has final verdict- if you are a fist time smartphone buyer if you want a decent phone with android in it, with superb features then just go for it, u wont regret later

Bought This mobile on 17 November. Straight to the point. A great budget phone with some disadvantages. Good about the Mobile. 1. Lag free performance thanks to Google tweaking the android to work great on the Mediatek Processor. 2. Build quality is good considering the price point. With matte finish. 3. Runs a good amount of apps without lag. I tried nearly 20 Apps at a time on Background. 4. Casual Games run great. No lag whatsoever. 5. GPS locking is good. Internet Works great on Chrome. 6. Voice Quality is Good. 7. Both SIM Support 3G. 8. Flash Better than HTC Desire 516 9. Screen Brightness is Good. 10. IPS display. 11. Google Now works great. 12. Multitasking is Awesome. Bad about the mobile. 1.Only 1700maH. Battery Works average but not great. 2.Camera good in daylight only. 3. Video recording is awful. 4. Connecting through USB works bad. disconnects itself after few minutes and it is too annoying. 5. Screen too reflective in sunlight but looking at the price point it is not that bad. At last some tips to get going with Androidone. First Install any file manager from Playstore. I think it is a good strategy by Google to restrict read and write of Internal Memory. A good deal of space for apps. No headache of transferring of apps, videos or other files from internal to external. Every thing you receive goes in the external memory. Bluetooth can be used only by pairing with the other cell. Those who are looking for Pure Android Experience. Best Choice better than Moto E. Go for It. 4/5 For this price point. I din't gave 5/5 because of USB connection. Because it is awful. I hope this review can help you Guys.

Arrived the same day, really quick delivery, a neat phone, light, good-looking, has all the wonders of Google, so many apps, quick too. The clarity is really good. the sound quality is good, I am not sure if I am having network issues with my service provider but the signal strength seems weak. The SD card did not fit well into the slot but it works well. I even used Cloud and saved all my contacts. I have to still check battery time, the phone does get heated up on long data usage. I have'nt yet explored all the features but this is a great buy for the price. I am actually ditching my blackberry z10 for it (has been a bad buy). One thing I would suggest is that phone makers should provide good user guides to help people use all features of a phone well. This phone will definitely be a big hit. I am happy I bought it :)

ITS VERY SMART THAN THAT APPEARS I PREVIEW. GOOD LOOKING MOBILE. ALMOST SAME FEATURES LIKE MOTO E IN ADDITION TO SECONDARY CAMERA AND LED FLASH.

AHHM.. THERE IS A PROB YOU CANNOT DELETE MESSAGES FROM SIM CARD EVERY TIME YOU TRY TO DELETE MESSAGE FROM SIM CARD AN ERROR POPS UP "UNFORTUNATELY, MESSAGING HAS STOPPED ". Thought mayb handset prob so i replaced with 30day return policy salute to flipkart but new one is brother of old one again haveing same prob... I guess spice mobility shud hav test this function Seriously This Phone is awesome and looks dashing as compared to xiomi Its display Brightness beats xiomi it has fm recording....Which Rec in original quality It Has notification light Finally It Has Guinine Look as Nexus n y not cos finally its nexus little bro
