Kudos to Flipkart and team for delivering the product within 36hours. Now about the phone- the phone is very light, design is also good. Best thing is the Camera.. Lowlight images are clear, the Dual Autofocus Pixels lets you lock focus in a blink. The front camera has great colour accuracy with adequate light, lowlight images were so-so. Played heavy games like wwe immortals, mortal combat 5 without any lag thanks to the 4gb RAM. Sound is not so good. Turbo Charging functionality was must as I never get the time to connect the charger for more than an hour. Both Sim supports 4G. Overall 8/10..

Excellent mobile. Ordered this mobile the midnight of launch.I'm the user of Moto phones ever since it made re entry into India. I'm a proud user of G1,G3,G4 plus and Moto X Play. Had huge expectations and was super excited to have a hands on with G5 plus and it met with all hype. PROS: 1.Well built and good display 2.Great camera. Beats g4 plus and best in class 3.Loved the finger print sensor and its responsiveness. One touch Nav is welcome action. 4.Excellent battery life(The display is smaller and OS is lighter when compared to RN4 and this battery capacity is as good as in RN4) 5.Super smooth OS. 6.There are no heating issues CONS: Price is a bit expensive taking competitors into account and I don't see any other negative. No lags, no optimization issues. VERDICT: Close your eyes and go for G5 plus if you love stock OS and want a standard branded phone. 5/5 :)

Good but slightly overpriced Cons As quoted both sim doesn't support 4g. JIO volte works fine but other sim will be on either 3g or 2g. Can't have both sim on 4g network at the same time. If you switch other sim to 4g, JIO won't work. Bezel are big around display. Price bit high. Lenovo P2 and Zuk Z2 plus cost same but have additional features except camera. Pros Dual SIM with dedicated SD card slot Phone works smooth camera is awesome Snapdragon 625 speed good Near stock Android OS Decent display Moto Brand. Why Moto? I prefer Moto phones powered by Snapdragon processor. Because the possibility of getting custom ROM like LineageOS is very high. Moto always released kernel source code very soon. You will get latest Android update from Moto for 18 months and after that you can flash custom rom like LineageOS for continued software update.

The phone is really good for the price range. The only slight issues I could find were 1. The speaker if really soft Otherwise it is amazing at battery life specially the turbo charge nails it. It does heat up very Little while charging , but no issues in performance. The camera is good with features like dslr control and 4k recording, the screen res is also good , it could have been a lil more bright like Motog4plus . The high end games work without any lag, Finger sensor is very quick in response. It's a good phone over all .

I am using moto g5 plus from last few days so I thought about giving my opinions. First of all this phone is not for everyone. If you are looking for value for money then go for redmi note 4;it offers everything (except camera) and if camera is your only priority then go for honor 6x or even moto g4 plus.So where does moto g5 plus stands from the rest. Pros: 1.stock ui(buttery smooth pure android and no bloatware) 2.dedicated sd card slot(you can use 2 sim and sd card at the same time) 3.moto gestures 4.good low light performance(best in class) 5.general performance without any lag(sd 625 performs very well in general day to day performance) 6.nfc(when it comes to india it will be useful) 7.turbo charger(charged from 22 to 90 pecent within a hour after that though it took 30 min to fully charge) 8.google assistant out of the box(you have to be a Google beta user to use this) 9.decent build and design Cons: 1.no laser autofocus (while recording videos or taking macro shots it struggles to focus and it takes few seconds to focus) 2.no optical image stabilization(if you record a lot while traveling then this device is not for you as the video comes out shaky) 3.avarage front camera 4.no led notification light(you have to pick up to know if there is any notification) 5.battery backup(from my general usage it only lasted the day not full 24 hours) 6.heating issus(while gaming or multitasking the device went up to 44 degree wonder what will be in summer) 7.no compass(navigating in rural areas where network is poor gps wont work and you can't use compass) 8.no garanteed updates(after 1 year you can forget about updates and even the security updates is not regular) 9.overpriced(taking the compition in mind the device could have been at least 2k cheaper) Overall its a pretty good device but remember ino phone is perfect specially at this price point)
Worth every penny!
