Hi, I got this phone from Flipkart on Friday and here is my 3 days review. Pros: * Beautiful design * Very handy, easy to handle * Battery backup is great * Back camera is good * No heating issues Cons: * If we are charging, it will not show any light or any notification whether it is charging or not. We need to on the screen and check whether it is charging or not. So every time we need to turn it on and see whether it is charging or not. * Camera issue: Once you take the picture and then press the back button it is taking some time to come back to camera mode. * If you turn on the flash and take pic with back camera it is taking some time to capture the picture. With out Flash it is taking very fast. * Volume is very low. Not enough for a medium sized room. * Ear phones are not good especially for me. Will post my feedback after using it another 15 days. Updated Review on 02-August after 3 months of usage: What I liked most: Look : 100/100 - Very good looking phone. Gold color and the finishing is super cool Size : 100/100 - 5.2 Inch is neither big nor small. I can still operate with one hand.. Battery : 100/100 - 3100 mAH is outstanding. 3G is always ON when i am out of home and Wi-Fi is always ON in home. I am charging mobile only once in every 36 hours. I use Whatsapp, instagram and Browsing mostly. Display : 90/100 - Not so bright and sharp as S series phones, but a real deal for the price. Impressed again. My only worry is about it is not having a Gorilla scratch proof glass. I may need to use tempered glass. Touch : 95/100 - So smooth and I dont see any lags as of now. Camera : 90/100 - Photos are good and can capture fast, but again not as great as S series phones. but at this price I believe this phone outclasses all other competitors in camera department. One last thing is about the SAMSUNG brand and its service center coverage, which is again awesome. Overall I am completely satisfied with the phone and this phone reached my expectations. What I disliked: Earphone jack at the bottom.. I feel uncomfortable when chatting and listening to songs at same time Low speaker volume, not a big deal though for me, As i don't use loudspeaker for songs mostly

PROS: 1) The first pros is the 5.2 inch Super AMOLED display. It helps in lower consumption of battery power. You don’t get Super AMOLED displays with other brands. 2) Besides the 13 megapixel primary camera the front camera which is a 5 megapixel sensor has a flash. It is a plus point for users who even loves taking selfies in low light condition or in the dark too. 3) The front camera can also shoot full HD videos. What’s more is that you can use the full HD feature even when calling through Whatsapp, Viber, Skype, etc. 4) You can expand memory upto 128gb which is plus point under 12000 segament. 5) This phone does support USB OTG cable. 6) Tt is really a slim device,also a good polishing cover which provide comfortable in handling. 7) Battery backup is awesome. 7) And lastly a headphone is shipped with the phone. I call this a pros because with other brands you don’t get. CONS: 1) Everybody is complaining about the RAM which is of only 2 GB, and consumers are right. You know what you can get 3GB RAM phones at two-the price of this phone. 4) The temperature sensor is absent. So, keeping track the phone temperature is impossible.

On time delivery - Great ! J5 is simply awesome for all its features! Especially the cameras & performance, More worthy of its price. * Heating - Not bad, it is obvious in almost all slim type smart phones. * Sound - Good in earphones than loudspeaker * Screen Mirroring / Miracast - Can't expect, need to buy chromecast device or discover any suitable app or simply connect to TV via USB cable * Battery - Decent battery backup. Never use it while charging or it will reduce the battery performance

I bought j5 2016 edition 2 days back. It has sober/ sleek appearance. Feather touch. 59% battery remaining after daytime (office time) use of 13 hours. Good quality camera. Hang free (so far). Good download/ browsing speed. Perfect in size not too small to put strain in eye nor too big to feel discomfort in pocket. This is my 2nd SAMSUNG mobile and I am loving it.

After using about 15 days, I feel this phone is very good for its battery, RAM and general performance. Battery comes for more than a day even after using heavily. No lagging in performance. One star less for its speakers as they are slightly low compared to others.
