WhatsApp will be launching a new feature to IOS and Android users which will allow listening to an audio message from the notification panel itself without opening the Apps.
WABetaInfo, the Twitter account that tracks the changes and upcoming features in the Facebook-owned platform has updated that iPhone user will get this feature first
There is no timeline yet when it will be released, but this feature will make it easy for the user to listen to audio messages.
WhatsApp is also rolling out a shortcut for editing images they have received on WhatsApp before sending it to other contacts called Quick Edit Media Shortcut. This feature will save users time and mobile storage in case they want to send an image on WhatsApp by tapping on the edit. Meanwhile, WhatsApp has rolled out Picture-in-Picture mode for its Android users that are part of the beta program. This feature enables users to switch between WhatsApp chats without ending any video.
