1. Delivery: Quick (the same day when I ordered). Packaging also, decent. MSI packaging left untouched and properly secured. 2. Build: Sturdy for any regular purpose. No major back cover or keyboard area flex noticeable. Unless you want some herculean machine. 3. Material: Plastic majority overall. Smooth finish. But huge smudge magnet. 4. Display: It is a TN panel. Horizontal viewing angels are more than enough for usual practical uses. Vertical angles are not great as expected but tolerable till practical limits. No backlight bleeding I could see. The display (as is the case with many entry level gaming laptops) is where they seem to have compromised as it is the only thing in this machine that isn't up to the mark. 5. Performance: Almost all AAA titles run very smoothly. Assassin's Creed: Origins, CoD: WWII, Far Cry 5 all easily give 30FPS at Ultra. Witcher ||| also runs smothly at high settings. 6. Battery life: Average use (browsing, music, videos etc) easily 4hrs. Battery life while gaming is very short, around 1hr. But that is not much of a complaint. 7. Looks and feel: Awesome. It doesn't bear that flashy red-all-over gaming laptop look which is good in my opinion. 8. Keyboard and Trackpad: The SteelSeries Keyboard is great, this is one thing I absolutely love about this laptop. Track pad is slightly odd (has Synaptic drivers), but you can update the drivers to make it feel much better. 9. Speakers: Not bad. But not at all great. Overall Verdict: Perfect for an entry level gaming laptop. Performance is unparalleled for the price point. Combine this with a decent build and cool looks and you get an awesome machine by MSI. Great price by Flipkart. Only cons are Display and Speakers. Tip: Do find a decent MSI service center around you. Or else there might be issues as the service is apparently not that wide spread in India.

graphics superb...gaming fantastic...batery backup normally 5.5 hr but during gaming it decreases very rapidly..u need to charging while gaming...cooling syatem is better than other gaming laptop(some of my friend's)...during gta 5..i have a maximum temp. 74..but it is good...but sometime processing is slower...but i am satisfied 90% with this

MSI offers a great deal on this entry level gaming laptop. i7 7700 HQ processor combined with a GTX 1050 is a beast at this price point. I am able to run everything smoothly. Fan noises are rarely noticeable and the laptop does not heat up. Great display as well. Full HD resolutions bring out great colors. Battery life is decent, not great. Daily mundane stuff like entertainment,browsing will give almost 4-5 hours of juice. Gaming gives about 2 hours. Keyboard is decent. Keyboard travel is not deep but satisfactory and backlit looks amazing. Synaptics driver in mousepad is good. Gestures works great. Speakers are not that loud and the placement of speakers does affect the quality. Headphones use is recommended. Laptop build is a touch magnet! In a matter of hours you will find loads of touch and fingerprints. Buy a skin if you are bothered by it. The hinges of the screen are tight and the screen does look pretty light. I recommend to use it with caution because it seems delicate. Who should buy this? This laptop is great for entry level gaming. If you are looking for casual to moderate gaming and like portability too, go for this laptop. I recommend this for students who want to do gaming at a decent level and still get their productivity stuff done.

Just got this product at 62k..The packaging was really good.. And thanks to flipkart for 1 day delivery.. Coming to the laptop, the only cons i could see is the speakers volume which later i increased with the help of 3rd party software.. And the display is not that great.. The backlit of keyboard is just excellent! Played watchdogs on ultra settings (preset) with no lag at all.. In terms of gaming it's a beast! Battery backup is 2.5 hrs on normal usage.. And you need to have a cloth handy to clean your laptop again and again after every 1 hr coz of its build quality.. Yes its a fingerprint magnet! I was really confused between gl-62m 7rdx and 7rex(with ssd and 1050ti) but i think 7rdx is a better choice because spending 10k extra just for 128gb ssd is not worth it.. And this laptop has also got a 15-20 sec boot up time which is good for me.. Later on i can add ssd worth Rs.3k if i need it.. So at last i am very happy with this laptop.. Just go for it..!

Gr8 for entry level gaming. Wish this came with 1050 TI. Then it would have been a complete beast. But it still a great laptop. Screen quality is surprisingly awesome for this range. Best suited for competitive gaming like CS:GO, DOTA 2, PUBG etc because of the very comfortable Steelseries keypad.

the product is very good after 10 days usage no lags cooling system working perfectly very silent machine to work with but the its a fingerprint magnet so i would recommend a skins for it

To begin with its literally a Finger print magnet, Extremely slow boot time (even if optimized)- so I'd recommend a clean reinstall of windows, graphics card gets messed up after the first driver update.

the best thing about this lappy is that, I have pushed to extremes almost every day when i was gaming, the software still feels so fresh! I also use it for programming, have installed dual OS ( linux/ubuntu ), works perfectly fine. I would say msi would be your best go, if you like to use it hardcore!
