Heating is a big issue for the phone. And also the location facility turns on automatically. The device is also lagging sometimes including force stop of app running. I think the next update may be helpful for it.

Pro: 1) Good build, nicely carved metals 2) Battery backup 3) Price Cons: 1) Outdated Android 2) Lots of inbuild apps that consume your data like anything 3) 1 GB RAM, mostly consumed by internal apps. Overall if you are planning to buy for low space apps good buy. Heavy gamers look for other options. NEVER UPGRADE OS.

I bought this product from flipkart during January sales for 5.5K(40% off 7.5% HDFC card off). I have been using this product for a week now and I must say it is good value for money at 5.5K. Battery life is not very good and hardly lasts full day on regular use, other than that rest features are good. Pros: 1. Good look with premium finish at back. 2. Bright screen with good screen resolution. 3. Back camera is okay considering budget tab in this range. 4. Ample accessories provided by flipkart(Screen guard cover) 5. Good processor. Cons: 1. Battery drains fast. 2. Too many apps pre-installed. 3. Not upgradable to android 5. 4. 1GB RAM is not enough to play heavy games. Screen freezes. 5. Only around 3GB ROM free out of 8GB for usage. While comparing this tab with other tabs in this range...this is far better. Good value for money as one should not look for all pros at this price range.

Seller Done his jobs honestly even after 3 Years of tab release date i got fully packed tab with Micromax seal. But Micromax had not done it's job in a correct ways lots of weakness in the tab p690. But Still a hope to use the tablet after Disabling Unwanted Apps. MOREOVER Quick look launcher MUST NOT be used, Set Any other launcher with no ads from play store(Google launcher preferred). Force stop unnecessary apps running in Background. After doing all that tab p690 is atleast usable.

At the price point, this is a good product. It works okay for most everyday usage and performs satisfactory. The RAM is low, and it shows. Multi tasking isn't it's forte and it starts lagging if you ask it for more. Reading, browsing etc works good. Low to Med level games also work good, provided you clean the RAM before starting the game. Looks great, good to hold, nice display. Comes with a flip cover and screen guard which is nice. Camera is nothing to write home about.

I ordered one for my team . performance was good . then i ordered 4 more . hope for the best . Dont know about the customer support . manoj

Only issue,,, 1. Heating problem... Its like hot stone .. Gud for winters.. no need to get heater.. just play temple run on it.( agar chali to) 2. Low ram 3. Very low storage.. just 4 gb with 1.8 gb available Good stuff 1. Awesome built 2. perfect brightness n sharp display 3. Good for pdf reading but use additional screen dimmer.. Battery back up is low.. but use Screen Dimmer Hibernation app... 2 din ka backup mil jata hai.. screen takes 50 % battery.. Also OS is buggy.. so use custom rom.. It will help... Also change launcher to Zen UI or nova launcher .. It will help to save battery.. I get 3 day standby and 5 hrs of continuous screen On PDF reading .. Without above changes.. backup is hardly 2 hrs with wifi..
